HereMyResume ("heremyresume.com") operates as the data controller for personal data processed on our platform. We strictly adhere to the European General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

We process minimal data necessary to provide tailored resume services:

  • Candidate credentials: Name, email address, password hash.
  • Resume and career details: Past employment, skills, education, project history.
  • Target job descriptions: Requisite skills, qualifications, and role specifics.
  • Technical session identifiers: Essential cookies required for authenticated access.

3. Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)

Processing of candidate resumes and cover letters is conducted under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (necessary for the performance of a contract to deliver tailored documents upon user request) and GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in maintaining platform security and fraud prevention).

4. Your Statutory GDPR Rights

Under Chapter III of the GDPR, you have the enforceable right to:

  • Right of Access (Art. 15): Request confirmation and an export of your processed data.
  • Right to Rectification (Art. 16): Update incomplete or inaccurate profile details.
